If you would like to serve as a delegate, please contact Pastor Carla or a member of counsel to volunteer by next Wednesday the 20th so we may prepare our delegates in advance of the meetings.

UCC Earth Week Event: The Faith of Prophets—Lessons for the Climate Crisis

Prophets are needed as much as ever now as our world confronts the climate crisis. Yet, we can no longer wait for others to be the prophets that were needed yesterday. We have to find the prophet in each of us. To answer the urgent call for action today, this special online Earth Week event will focus on what the Hebrew Prophets can teach us as well as what prophetic actions are currently being taken.

If you can’t make the scheduled time on Saturday, April 23rd, at 10:30 am sign-up, and we will send you a recording.

The Bible Clearly Says…Or Does It? An Overview of Homosexuality and the Bible

Pathways Theological is offering a 6-week Faith Formation and Spiritual Practices of Children, Youth and Adults course beginning April 18, 2022.

Every day we hear that the church as it was known in the late 20th century is gone. A church is growing in its place where people are looking for depth and meaning, families are needing to rest (even from church) on Sundays, outreach may bring more meaning than worship, and the Bible too often gets left on the sidelines. How do we support individuals and families, and grow communities where faith formation and spiritual practices in all their manifestations deepen everyone’s experience of the Holy? This class is a part of the conversation. The resources listed are readily available for nurturing all ages of faithful Christians.new Environmental Justice advocacy certificate course and will also offer Homosexuality and Bible study courses in March.
